Understanding Form W-2

If you've got a job, then chances are you'll get a Form W-2. The form will be filled out by your employer and reports a year's worth of income (including tips and bonuses). Employees usually receive three copies: one for filing with a federal tax return, one for filing with a state tax return and one for filing away in their own records.
